Natural Skin Care Tips For Gorgeous Skin Without Artificial Products

July 25, 2017 by M. Johnson

We all want our skin to be glowing and beautiful. A lot of people, however, believe you can only care for your skin by applying a myriad of artificial products such as moisturizers and exfoliants. That is far from the truth – in fact, you can achieve even better results with 100% natural skin care. You can naturally take care of your skin and avoid potentially dangerous products. There are many natural ingredients you can apply to your skin to achieve an effect similar to that of chemical products.

Moist coffee grounds can be an excellent natural exfoliant. You can scrub it on your face or on your entire body, and it'll do a great job of removing dead skin cells. As a bonus, the caffeine will remain in your skin making your pores tighter, making your skin even smoother. If your skin is dry, you can add a little bit of olive oil, too – one to two teaspoons.

Moisturize With Peels

It's very easy to treat your skin with fruit or vegetable peels. Scrubbing the inner peel of a banana against your face will do a great job at moisturizing. To reduce puffiness you can use potato peels instead, or citrus if you want it's astringent properties. Avocados' will plump up your complexion a bit, and Pineapples' will quickly brighten your skin.

Eating Right

Of course, applying natural ingredients goes a long way to make your skin look better, but you can't neglect proper nutrition. Eating right will improve the quality of your skin from inside, and can be even more important than what you do on the outer layer.

Carrots

Along with many other orange-colored foods, carrots contain vitamin A, a powerful antioxidant that has a lot of positive effects on your body. It helps maintain your teeth and bones, improve your vision, and of course, promotes skin cell development and a good skin tone.

Berries

Berries are infused with another important antioxidant: Vitamin C. Vitamin C makes your skin taut and smooth, as it boosts production of collagen. It also supports your immune system, promotes skin healing, and helps your skin get that glowing look. Blackberries, strawberries and blueberries are examples of berries that contain plenty of Vitamin C.

Whole Grains

Whole grains are packed with fiber, reducing inflammation, stabilizing blood sugar and reducing insulin spikes. They contain zinc, which maintains skin smoothness, repairs damage and even regulate sebum production. They tend to have vitamin B as well, which helps skin cells process fat, preventing it from becoming dry and scaly.

While it might seem you have no alternative other than spending money and threatening your well-being by applying potentially dangerous artificial products on your skin, there are alternatives. With the use of natural skin care ingredients, you can achieve similar, or even better results.
